Richard LeFave Dick LeFave is Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Sprint Nextel, a role he previously held with Nextel Communications, Inc. He is responsible for the strategic deployment of information Technology (IT) resources throughout Sprint Nextel. Mr. LeFave joined Nextel in February 1999 and has more than 29 years of experience in IT, including more than 20 years as CIO for The Boston Company, Thomas Cook Travel of American Express Company, Southern New England Telephone and Sprint. He received a Bachelor of Science from Boston University, a Master of Business Administration from The University of Puget Sound, a Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and has completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program (AMP). Mr. LeFave serves as the Chairman of the CIO Council for the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) and is the Co-Chair for the Technology Council of the Billions Minds Foundation. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army as well as a published author. |
