Jeff Zabin

Jeff Zabin

A widely recognized thought leader in e-business transformation, customer centricity, and precision marketing, Jeff Zabin focuses his research on data-driven marketing solutions for attracting, retaining, and leveraging profitable customers and for driving overall business growth. Zabin is also currently interested in researching the reduction of environmental waste.

Zabin is the coauthor of two bestselling business books - The Seven Steps to Nirvana: Strategic Insights Into e-Business Transformation (McGraw-Hill, 2001) and Precision Marketing: The New Rules for Attracting, Retaining and Leveraging Profitable Customers (Wiley, 2004). He has written dozens of influential articles for trade magazines like Brandweek, DIRECT, CMO and Chief Marketer, and his research has been published in leading practitioner and academic journals, including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science.

He is a frequent keynote speaker at major business forums in North America and Europe, and he has also guest lectured at various executive education programs.
Prior to joining Aberdeen, Zabin headed up product marketing and led the thought leadership program for the Global Marketing Solutions division of Fair Isaac Company (NYSE:FIC), and served as Vice President of Marketing at Seurat Company.

Zabin, who began his career in educational publishing, at Houghton Mifflin Company, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He served as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Bolivia.
