Excerpt:

Stuart Fulton of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) tells ITO America about the four key investments that are making a difference. The first key is Advanced Videoconferencing. Adoption of video among their people doubled in their last fiscal year because of availability, ease of use, portability, convenience, and enhanced sound and picture quality. Their goal was to refresh their older infrastructure. The number two key is the Voice Over IP implementation that will help their people work more efficiently, respond to clients and colleagues more quickly, and customize their individual phone to suit the way they work best. The third key being Hoteling and Telecommuting, allows agility for professionals who travel, finding office space to work in, regarding of their location. Lastly the fourth key is Enterprise 2.0 Collaboration Techniques. PwC made a decision globally on the future platform to be adopted for their IT connectivity, communication and collaboration - - a strategic, coordinated approach to transform the way they work with their colleagues and clients.
