PSCU Financial Services needed a mechanism to access data from many different integration points. To meet these needs, the company began working on a project to convert its in-house legacy interface using an older Sybase product to a modern XML interface based on IBM WebSphere MQ. This mission critical system exchanges over one million messages per day between various PSCU Financial Services systems both internally and externally.

In order to support the company's rapid growth plans, PSCU Financial Services selected Metastorm Integration Manager (MIM) � a full-featured integration suite designed to handle high-volume, system based processes and to leverage even the most obscure legacy applications � as the foundation for developing an enterprise-wide Data Gateway Hub based on a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services. This Data Gateway Hub will rapidly integrate additional systems inside and outside the company's growing enterprise.
